So far during the 2008-2009 NBA season the Daily Power Ratings report's highest rated picks, 5* (Five Star) Picks have posted an incredible 21-5 record, winning at an 81% rate at the All-Star break! While some people might ask why this handicapping method is so successful, it's really very simple: The Vegas point spread DOES NOT predict how many points the favorite SHOULD win the game by- it’s made for the purpose of driving equal amounts of betting money to both teams. Sportsbooks want to remove their risk, and when equal money is bet on both sides, the Sportsbooks can't lose because they charge a 10% vigorous (Vig), also called "juice," to losing bettors. Because of this, the line on a several games every day is WRONG- offering betting value.

Daily Power Ratings Report Is Changing Formats From An E-newsletter to DailyPowerRatings.com

February 20, 2009
Daily Power Ratings, one of the most popular sports power rating reports in the sports betting industry has announced that they will be switching formats. As of March 15, 2009 the sports handicapping power rating report which had previously been emailed to subscribers daily as an E-newsletter will be changing to a web site format, with the domain name of DailyPowerRatings.com.
One of the benefits to going to the new web site format is that Daily Power Ratings will be offering a daily free pick to visitors to the site absolutely free- with no strings attached. “Our record speaks for itself and we want to prove that are power ratings are the most accurate football picks and basketball picks available to serious sports bettors. So far during the 2008-2009 NBA season the Daily Power Ratings report’s highest rated picks, 5* (Five Star) Picks have posted an incredible 21-5 record, winning at an 81% rate at the All-Star break! Our reports rank every game on the football, basketball or baseball schedule and than rate the games on a 5-star to 1-Star system. The report uses team power ratings to calculate what the point spread on every game should be and then compares that to the actual Vegas line. The bigger the point differential between the report’s point spread and the betting line, the stronger the pick.
While some people might ask why this handicapping method is so successful, it’s really very simple: The Vegas point spread DOES NOT predict how many points the favorite SHOULD win the game by- it’s made for the purpose of driving equal amounts of betting money to both teams. Sportsbooks want to remove their risk, and when equal money is bet on both sides, the Sportsbooks can’t lose because they charge a 10% vigorous (Vig), also called “juice,” to losing bettors. Because of this, the line on a several games every day is WRONG- offering betting value. These are the games that Professional gamblers load up on. The Daily Power Ratings report find these games, so subscribers can take advantage of these mistakes and bet like a Pro. It’s the easiest and fastest way for a serious gambler to cherry pick the games with the best chance of winning, or covering the point spread.

The new web site format will also allow easier 24 hour a day access to the reports for subscribers, who can either view the PDF file on their monitor, or print the report out to review the wagers. Along with offering the daily free pick, which will be taken each day from one of the picks on the report, the site will also feature a report archive section, which will post every day’s report so visitors can review past reports and document the reports’ record and past results. Daily Power Ratings managers feel this new format will be a big upgrade for the company, which has seen its subscription rate almost double each of the last two years.
They provide power ratings for most major sports, including basketball picks, football picks and baseball picks. Of course, their football picks have the largest following among gamblers. For those readers that don’t know what power ratings are, the easiest explanation is that Power Ratings are numeric figures that rank how good a sports team has been performing and how they compare to other teams in their league. The rating is usually based on a combination of factors that include: team record, statistics, schedule strength, players on the roster, coaching staff, turnovers and points scored and allowed. Professional gamblers and Vegas oddsmakers use our team Power Ratings to make a point spread, or betting line, on each game. Our subscribers use Daily Power Rating report’s team ratings and subtract it from their opponents rating number to find what games have errors in the point spread, offering betting value!
Daily Power Ratings Reports Offer Subscribers:
•	Average 3 to 6 picks per day…That’s less than $10 per pick!
•	Rate EVERY GAME on a day’s schedule
•	5* Basketball Picks are winning at an 81% (21-5) clip at the NBA All-Star break
•	Make money betting football, betting basketball or betting baseball using Daily Power Ratings
For more information about power ratings, subscription prices, football picks, basketball picks, or the daily free pick you can visit their web site, or email them at DailyPowerRatings@Yahoo.com

How Power Ratings Work?

Power Ratings are numeric figures that rank how good a sports team has been performing and how they compare to other teams in their league. The rating is usually based on a combination of factors that include: team record, statistics, schedule strength, players on the roster, coaching staff, turnovers and points scored and allowed.
How Power Ratings Make Money…

The Vegas point spread does NOT predict how many points the favorite SHOULD win the game by- it’s purpose is to drive equal amounts of betting money to both sides. Because of this, the line on a several games every day is WRONG- offering betting value. These are the games that Professional gamblers load up on. Our Power Ratings find these games, so our subscribers can take advantage of these mistakes and bet like a Pro.

Most Power Ratings are based on a team’s statistics, scores and record. The problem with that is they’re rating how a team played in their PREVIOUS games, not how they are going to play in their NEXT game!

Our Daily Power Ratings begin with each team’s roster, statistics, record, and results. However, we then adjust each team’s rating according to tonight’s opponent and specific game situations to answer the most important handicapping question of all:

HOW WILL A TEAM PLAY IN TONIGHT’S GAME?

Why Do Daily Power Ratings Beat The Vegas Point Spread?

The Vegas point spread does NOT predict how many points the favorite SHOULD win the game by- it’s purpose is to drive equal amounts of betting money

Why Daily Power Ratings Are Better Than Other Power Ratings?

Standard Power Ratings evaluate a team’s ability based on a variety of statistics such as win percentage, schedule strength, points scores & allowed, time of possession, turnovers and many other factors. The problem with this method is that it measures how a team performed in their PREVIOUS games, not how they are going to play in their NEXT game! That’s what makes Daily Power Ratings so different from other power ratings, we begin with those team statistics, then adjust them on a daily basis according to tonight’s specific opponent and game situations in order to answer the most important handicapping question of all:

How will a team play in TONIGHT’S game?

Daily Power Ratings Subscribers Cash Big On The Arizona Cardinals In The Super Bowl!!!

The Super Bowl is a perfect example of “team form cycles” and why Daily Power Ratings make money for sports bettors. The Steelers played the
toughest schedule this Football season and still owned the best record in the AFC. After easily winning both Playoff games, they were now
playing a Cardinals team that was only 9-7 during the season and had been Dogs in almost every Playoff game. Had the Super Bowl been
played 8 weeks earlier, Pittsburgh would have easily beaten the Cardinals, so the public bet their money on Pittsburgh when the
Sportsbooks posted them as 7 point Favorites.

Football, basketball, and baseball seasons can last as long as 8 months from the preseason to the Playoffs. Sports teams are not machines, their performance level fluctuates from game-to-game, and their winning streaks and losing runs are a known as a team’s “Form Cycle.” Teams that look like Championship contenders early in the year often fail to make the Playoffs, while other teams fly under the radar most of the season and begin a winning streak at just the right time – like the Arizona Cardinals’ 2009 Superbowl run.
However, because our Power Ratings measure how a team will be playing in their upcoming game, not based on their previous
performance, our subscribers knew that Arizona was AS GOOD as the Steelers heading into the Super Bowl and the point spread
should have been only 1 point.

We don’t need to tell you that Arizona almost won- It took a late Touchdown on the final drive of the game for Pittsburgh to win by
4 points, 27-23, with Arizona backers- And our subscribers- Cashing on the Cardinals!

Daily Power Ratings Report for Super Bowl Sunday.

Professional gamblers and Vegas oddsmakers use our team Power Ratings to make a point spread, or betting line, on each game. Our subscribers use Daily Power Rating report’s team ratings and subtract it from their opponents rating number to find betting value in the Vegas line.

Our Clients CASHED BIG on Arizona in the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is the best example of “changing form cycles.” The Pittsburgh Steelers had the best record in the AFC and played the toughest schedule during the regular season. They played a Cardinals team that was only 9-7 during the season, but recently snapped a 2 game losing streak the final week of regular season and then won 3 straight Playoff games and scored 30 points or more in every game. Had this game been played earlier this year, Pittsburgh would have rolled over the Cardinals, so it was no surprise when the Sportsbooks posted Pittsburgh as 7 point Favorites.

Daily Power Rating subscribers quickly realized that Arizona was playing just as good of football as the Steelers entering the Super Bowl and the line should have been just 1 point. (SEE REPORT BELOW.) We don’t need to tell you that Arizona almost won the game outright- It took a Touchdown on the final drive of the game for the Steelers to win by just 4 points, 27-23, with Arizona bettors (and our subscribers) winning their bets!
